As winter set in, the trap laid carefully by the crafty Russian Bear, vengeance to be exacted by his STAVKA Generals and those in the field ... snapped shut on hapless Axis Satellite soldiers from Romania along with Werhmacht soldiers from 4th Panzer Army and other formations. As the icy blasts swept across the Steppe, one of the greatest military calamities in history was unleashed upon the men of multiple nations. It was Operation URANUS.
